What are the special considerations that have to be dealt with in an estate plan for a blended family?

Todd Courser and Associates Estate Planning, Uncategorized

Many people find themselves in blended families nowadays.  When clients, from blended families, come to me to do their estate planning, they are encountering different issues than those found with a traditional family.  I have worked with many clients who have had blended family issues.  If you are in this situation then make sure to work with an attorney who is very experienced in dealing with such issues. It can be complicated, take time and it will not be as cheap to do as a traditional estate plan.  However, if the proper steps are taken before the passing of the loved one in the blended family occurs, the transfer of assets to a set of beneficiaries can be seamless.   Call my office to set up your consultation today.  Todd Courser 810-245-0813
